FinKey - split ring opener

Opening up split rings can sometimes be annoying – it hurts fingers and it is so finicky to put the keys in. 

I was inspired by the “clip attaching tool” that I got with my Fujifilm XE-2 camera. I designed basically a larger scale (suitable for diameters larger than 1cm) tool in the shape of a fish. Here I present you the “FinKey”.

The entire thing can be printed within 20minuts using 0.2mm layer. So print a bunch and have them at home or attached to keychains and ready for use. 

Instruction: 

1. Insert the thin tail fin into the split ring (green arrow)
2. rotate the tail to open up the split ring (blue arrow)
