V1E Lowrider 3 Control Box SOURCE CAD

Source CAD version of Doug Joseph's (Design8Studio) Lowrider 3 Control Box.

I was looking to make a custom version of Doug Joseph's Lowrider-3 CNC Control Box to fit a BTT Octopus V1.1 and a few other bits and bobs…

Unfortunately as Doug has kindly outlined on the V1Engineering Forum he is unable to provide a Fusion Archive File (f3d) or STEP Assembly (.step) due to some Sketchup export limitations.

So I decided to import the mesh files into Fusion and convert the geometry, reverse engineering his design to produce a Source CAD file for other tinkerers to make their custom with much less hassle than previously. 

Included in the release is:

• Control Box Base   ( .f3d  & .step )
• Control Box Lid        ( .f3d & .step ) 
• Control Box ASSM  (.f3d & .step )

I will not be providing mesh files (.stl) of these parts, for these please go to Doug's Model. I would also recommend that you print from his mesh files for parts that you do not modify, as this decreases the likelihood of a fitment issue etc. 

Alongside this you will need to source the TFT mount from Doug's page, I was unable to convert it's mesh file into usable surface geometry : ( .
