A lot of people had done the replacement of the POT to a Hall Effect Sensor in thier Thurstmaster T16k sticks so i tried to do the same with my original Saitek X52.  Had to design a riser that lets the sensor sit correctly while being protected.

I used the Honeywell SS495A, and a stack of  6x2mm round magnets wrapped in electrical tape and hot glued in place below the sensor.  I think it was  magnets but youll have to play with the amount to get it right.

Print with 3 walls and 10-15% infill worked like a champ.
once Printed, insert where the POT came out of and it should fit snug.

Use LOW TEMP hot glue or a thick adhesive to secure the sensor to the top of the mount as dead center as possible.

And before you button it all up, make sure to plug in and test the sensor reads correctly.  I definitely didn't do this the first time and spent another 20 min unscrewing the stick haha.
