#0134 Hex Vent Hole Cover [2 Variants]- Original Prusa Enclosure (OPE)

This is another model to help plug up the holes in the Original Prusa Enclosure.  Given all the upgrade options and possibilities provided by Prusa, it's inevitable that if they are not used, they need to be plugged up to help keep the heat in.

Did you know that the slits around the hexagonal vent hole is equivalent to a 28.4mm diameter hole?  (That's about twice as big as your thumb) - a big opening for heat to escape - not great if your goal is to keep the heat inside.

This model is designed to plug up the large vent hole even if the acrylic glass cutout section has been removed. And it also works without the hexagon removed.

You should use the spare rivets from your Enclosure assembly kit to hold the Vent Hole Cover in place. If you don't have any more, try the model included here for replacement rivets (as a last resort because the original ones work a little better.)

Printing Tips for rivets:

1. Print the rivets slowly and no less than 10x so you can have some spares.  Because they are small, they can break if mishandled.
2. Print using ABS.  Do not use PLA or PETG because they don't flex enough without breaking. 
3. Tested with Polymaker ABS black.
4. 0.2mm layer, 0.4mm or 0.6mm nozzle.
5. Idea: you might even try to use TPU, but I've not tested them with TPU.
