#0139 PSU Cable Pass-thru Cover - Original Prusa Enclosure (OPE)

This model covers up the rather large opening at the bottom of the power supply that allows the printer's power cable to come into the enclosure.

If you are interested in a model that covers the entire opening because you use the PSU Quick Disconnect option instead, it is here.

Design Objective:

1. Create a design that covers up this large hole (effectively 24.2mm diameter) while the power supply remains in place - this makes for the least hassle to put together.
2. Allow a slide-together design to snap into the enclosure features.
3. Make it a one-person assembly process.

Features:

1. Simple 2 part design that slides together and snaps in place.
2. Covers up the cable entry opening and the slit where the acrylic glass and sheet metal bracket meets.
3. No hardware required; easily removable.
4. Snug fit that won't rattle when in place.

Printing Tips:

1. Use PETG/ABS/ASA filament.  PLA is too brittle and the snaps may break from flexing.
2. Use the included .3mf file with adhesion helpers for best results.
3. Print on a Prusa textured print sheet to match the enclosure texture.
4. Tested with printing 0.2mm layer and 0.4mm nozzle, using Polymaker ABS Black.

TIP: To remove the adhesion helpers the easy way, use a deburring tool (for those that don't know, it looks like this). 

Assembly Tips: (also reference the pictures attached)

1. You may have to snip and remove the power supply cable tie wrap on the inside of the enclosure that mounts to a tie wrap anchor - this allows you some movement of the cable for assembly (and leave the tie wrap off).
2. You may have to move the cable tie wrap on the outside of the enclosure to make room for assembly.
3. Slide the short half of the cover from the right side of the cable.
4. Slide the long half of the cover into the short half, capturing the cable in between.
5. Snap the cover into the opening.
6. Snap the upper part of the cover thru the slit of the acrylic glass above it - this may bow the sheet a little bit (about ½ inch or so), but the cover should snap in place.
