Ender 3 V3 SE K3D cooling duct + hot end shroud

Disclaimer! This mod is possible if you are running klipper, because CR touch position is changed and as far as I know, it is not possible to edit in stock firmware.

I wasn't happy with performance of any available cooling duct for V3 SE with dual 5015, so I looked for something tested and proven to work great and found K3D cooling duct for sprite extruder.

Straight out of the box it was too short,even volcano version, so I extended it for several milimimetrs and changed position for one of the mounting brackets to leave space for CR touch mount.

Next problem was the hot-end cooler. There is no space between part cooling duct and small radiator for hot-end (don't know right word for it), except if you are using original 25mm fan. So I redesigned Denis Kučević hot end fan mount, because it is easy to remove without any hardware that is directly bolted to radiator. On the other end of shroud Im using KILLbabylon low profile shroud with 4020 fan.

For mounting parts you need:

Six M3x6 socket head cap screws (DIN 912, ISO 4762);

Six M3 washers (DIN 433, ISO 7092);

Two 5015 24V fans;

Two zip ties.

Printing (everything with PETG):

CR touch relocate - 5 walls, 5 top and bot layers. Dont need supports.

Dual 5015 fan duct - 2 wall, 3 top and bot layers, infil 15-20 %. Dont need supports.

Fan shroud - 2 wall, 3 top and bot layers, infil 15-20 %. Use auto tree support. 

For mounting CR Touch to bracket reuse original screws. For mounting KILLbabylon low profile shroud to my shroud reuse original M2 screws. Fans are mounted with zip ties, because I didn't have long enough hardware. Other mounting hardware and their position is visible in photos.

Klipper:

In [bltouch] change these lines

Next settings could be different if you are not using x rail, so adjust for your printer as you need.

In the future I would like to replace hot end 4020 cooler fan with 5015 fan, to make whole extruder body low profile and to have only 5015 fans for printer.

K3D Fan duct is extended for 21 mm and one of the mounting brackets moved to higher position.

Creality ender 3 v3 see hot end fan mount is redesigned to have 90 deg angle and added 4 M2 mounting holes for shroud and 1 hole for extruder.
