box with lipstick mechanic and a magnetic bowl to dispense / separate needles.
The tray can be moved up and down using a rotating mechanism. The mechanism is modeled on a lipstick.
When the tray is moved upwards, the needles spread apart and can then be safely removed.
I used a strong neodyme with 10 mm diameter, 1 mm thickness and placed it inside the tray bowl during a programatic pause of the printing process.
Update 2024/03/24 add more turns to the shell for self-locking. The shell needs supports for proper printing.
The cap isn't really required so you can skip printing to save time and material.
Assembling is very simple.
1.) put the bowl into the bottom part
2.) Place the bowl with the spiral opening facing downwards over both and turn it slightly until the bowl snaps into place (to do this, press the two legs of the lower part together slightly).
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
