This mod enables you to delete the old PS2 FAT PSU and replace a segment of it with USB PD.

Important Notes
- This has only been tested in a SCPH-39001 PAL case, I do not intend to support anything else.
- While USB-C PD can do 12 volts, it is optional for the PSU. Therefore I have opted to use 20V as it is a requirement of the spec.
- The USB PD PSU must provide 5 amps to meet the power requirements of the PS2.
- You CANNOT connect this directly to the motherboard's power in port, additional hardware is required to step down the 20V to 12V. I will not be providing any instructions on how to do this.
- The two holes to screw down the USB PD trigger board to the 3D model are just there for guides.
Build Instructions
- Print the 3D model, I do not have any recommendations on print settings other than requiring supports for the front side if facing downwards.
- On the USB-C PD Trigger board, underneath you need to solder the following two jumpers to bridge them:
- “20v” (The required voltage output we want)
- “PD Only” This disables Qualcomm fast charging as it is not what we want.
- Align the USB-C PD trigger board inside the 3D-printed plate.
- Using two small self-tapping screws gently screw them in. Note: You may need to place small washers underneath the PCB if the board is sitting too low.
- Connect your positive and negative wires to the USB-C PD trigger board screw terminals.
- Remove the old PS2 PSU, you do not need this if you are performing this modification. Note: You should already have figured out how you are going to convert 20v to 12v by this point
- Mount inside fan bracket.

I have included the Fusion 360 project file alongside this project, please note that I am a novice Fusion 360 user and it's likely that tweaking values may break the model. So sorry in advance.

Step Down Converter
To step down the 20v to 12v, I used a buck converter (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006408230252.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.4.7d041802m3hibV). Finding a location for this was rather rough as I was also adding other mods that took up some extra spacer. Please note that careful consideration needs to be taken to mount this in such a way that it won't short on other internals.
