An easy to print dowel for the bottle rack by bjamdesign. Print bjamdesign's bottle racks, then print as many of these dowels as you need to connect them together. These are designed with a flat side so they can print laying down without supports, which also ensures the dowels don't interfere with the bottles in the rack. There's also a slight curve around the middle to minimize filament use per dowel.

These are design to friction fit into place. Orient them so that the flat side is facing towards where the bottle will sit, see the pictures for an example. If it's too loose or tight, let me know in the comments and I can make an updated design.

Prints laying flat on the bed, just like how they show up when you add them to your slicer. No supports or brim required. Around 20% infill is plenty. It uses less then 5 grams of filament per dowel, making this an economical option.

The design files are available below if you'd like to see how this was designed or change anything. It's a parametric design, you can open the variables tab to change the thickness and profile of the dowel.
