NA/NB MX-5 Engine Seal Installation Tools

Seal fitting tools for MX-5 B6 and BP engines. 

I had a bad experience fitting my rear main seal  not using the proper tooling. the prices for presses seemed a bit much for many DIYers 

Recomended Printing Instructions

• 4+ Perimeters
• Dense Infill 30% or more
• I used PLA with no issues and have done several engines using the set.

Usage

• The depths should be reasonably close to recomended value from OEM manuals but I cannot guarantee that.
• place the new seal over the shaft then place the seal fitting tool over it.
• using the bolts removed from the shaft screw down the tool until the seal is pressed to recomended depth. Be aware the VVT cam has an index pin and the seal press needs to align with this
• You may need to use a socket to tighten the bolts in but bo not over tighten the bolts onto the tool
