Two versions of the hull are included - one with smooth sides (that can be painted to simulate wood planking), and a version with an iron-plated bow. Alternatively, you can cut the plates out of aluminum cans. That would look better while also being kinda ironic.
The rudder is designed to be fixed with a wire hinge, inserted into the hull slot before joining - as well as two alignment blocks to keep things square.
Optional parts include the two styles of ship's boat, barrels, and basic davits that can be installed along the aft gunwales.
Rigging and sails are obviously not printable, so regular model ship building techniques should be applied. For everything else, Mathew Bett's exceptional book on Terror is the best available resource.
There might be minor manifold issues on the hull parts, but I have had no issues with slicing or printing.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
