NOTE: this is not a gun magazine - it is a mock attachment to make the 10 round box mag look like an M1 Carbine mag.

If you have a 10/22 with the M1 Carbine stock, the M1 Carbine mag extension by death4u helps to complete the look for your 10 round Ruger box mags.  I wanted that look without having to glue the extension to the magazine.  So this is a combo of Gilderstern's joiner and that mag extension.  I also added a variation of jalexand's washer that helps it lay flatter with a bump added to help match the mag a little better.

The result is this … thing.  It is a bit rougher than I hoped but from a distance it works.  I printed it using a .15 layer height.  PLA Plus but you could use ASA or whatever you want.  The washer needs to be of tougher material so you can tighten it without cracking.  I would avoid PETG for that part.  I did a color change to black at around layer height 61.10 to add a bit more realism.

Supports are needs for the mag wings at the top.  You need to make sure it fits tightly on the mag.  It should be slightly difficult to push the mag down on this.  The washer requires supports due to the extra bump I added to it.  So the washer needs to be printed facing up with supports like the picture.  Or you could use jalxand's original on its back.

Use either a short M5 bolt (around 16mm) and nut  - or comparable SAE size.

It has an issue where you need to avoid pulling the magazine out of the well towards the front.  You need to pull it straight down or to the rear or the washer may crack.  It helps if it is sized to fit tight on the mag base.

The one in the pictures is printed with Duramic PLA plus silver (sort of greyish silver).

Thanks to to death4u, Gilderstern, and jalexand for the originals I borrowed from.  This was mostly done in Tinkercad and PrusaSlicer.
