I did this design for a friend who wanted to have a donation box at his information stand at the Viennese Critical Mass bike rides.
The bottom is a M30 screw, so you can easily open and close the bank.
Printer:
Snapmaker
Rafts:
Doesn't Matter
Supports:Yes
Resolution:
0,15
Infill:N/A
Notes:
Use the Front, Back, Shell and Screw files to print, since you can't print it at once: it would need internal support, and the support would be almost impossible to remove afterwards. It's much easier to print the 3 body parts extra, and glue them together.
I added a small part of the shell, just to do a test for the screw.Front, Back and Screw can be printed without support, the Shell needs support for the screwhole and the slit.
Of course, you'll have to glue the parts together after printing :-)
I painted the raised bicycle black after glueing the parts together, and sprayed it with clear paint.
Note: I have only a small printer at the moment (Snapmaker, 125x125x125 build volume), so it is only a small piggy bank. You can scale it of course larger in your slicer, if you want/need. Just remember you'll have to scale all 4 parts to the same amount :-)
