Recessed handle

I built a custom enclosure for my prusa printer, out of MDF.

This is the handle I created to incorporate into the enclosure. The sides of the box are made with 18mm MDF. This is the maximum depth of the handle. This could easily be used for drawers as well.

The handle as a chamfer on its top side so that it provides more leverage to carry the enclosure.

The model has 2 templates to be used with a router to create the recesse in the material.

I printed the handle in PLA Jet Black because it won't see a lot of mechanical stress nor heat. I however printed the templates of PETG to support the routing process. This might be overkill.

I designed and printed mine with a .6mm nozzle. Haven't tried with a .4mm.
