Yet Another Filament Clip (tighter, thiccer CLIPPY remix)
Description
PDFMore FDM optimized version of iLabs CLIPPY.
CLIPPY seems to be a rather exact copy of the JAYO/SUNLU/(others?) filament clip supplied with 250g spool sets. This design is my absolute favorite after testing many.
Big thanks to iLabs for providing a printable version of this injection mold piece.
However, i found the design to be too thin and give sub-optimal bed adhesion when printed at high speeds. Another resulting issue is fatigue of the spool facing clip when using it on thicker spools.
This remix design is tested to tightly grip on various cardboard and thinner plastic spools. But will still not fit prusament spools. That is a non-issue for me since i use the hex cutout on those anyway. Thus, prusament spool fit is out of scope of this remix.
Print advise:
Having tested PLA, PETG and ABS, i found ABS to give the best overall performance.

Differences of the remix compared to the original
- Adjusted the angle of the spool side clip by 3° to grip more tightly
- Thickened all walls to be printed with 4 walls using a 0.4mm nozzle and mitigate fatigue
- Rotated to correctly face the build plate for support-less print
- Reduced width (print z-height) to 8mm as a sweet spot between grip and material use/print time
