K1 MAX Riser with hinges and guider

Tool free riser for this great printer, giving much better filament path, hinges for the top lid, cooling option.

This riser, combined with the guider included, gives better TPU printing, much better, and no sharp turnings, PTFE tube path, which means more reliable printing of filaments with CF. The tube will not touch the lid, and it comes from the sides of the printer. Cable chain is no more scratching on the rods, filament sensor is now easy to remove and to work with. The glass lid now have hinges that don't requires bolts or nuts and can be removed very easy and quick. You can open the lid and leave it, it won't fall, or you can open the sliding lids on the sides of the riser. 

The assembly is tool-free, everything you need is printable and included. PTFE tube is the original one. You can use rubber and soft tape instead of TPU pieces included as a files. I did my best to make this riser look good and not spoil an already good looking machine but make it look even better. Hope you like it too.

The first unit is complete, here are some main settings I used.:

LH-0.2mm; LW-0.4mm, Flow-95% Jerk outer-4; Jerk inner-6

Parts don't need to be very strong, except for hinges, axes and rear corners.

Leave shrinkage comp to 0%, I compensate it in the geometry of the model. If you don't like the clearance of the axis, you can always scale them. Print them slow. Print the sliding lids slow too. 

Try to print text plate with 2 colors, if use 0.2mm LH, the second color starts from layer 19.

NEW VERSION OF THE GUIDER

After many tests, I found out that PA play critical role in TPU printing. And what i mean by this is when we set the PA between 0.2 to 0.3 instead the default 0.04 , the stringing disappears and overall print quality gets much better. Then I reduce the retraction to minimum and the results didn't change to bad. And now with retraction 1mm, I don't see the point of this chamber in the guider, this is why I'm uploading V2 of this part, where the inside is not hollow anymore. Currently  I'm printing TPU with 12mm3 Material flow, and the results are great.

Added back corners without hinges adaptors. Wider TPU isol is included so when the glass lid is open, can rest more secure on a bigger surface.
