Honeycombe Grid - Adjustable Mounts

This idea was inspired for mobile solutions where you may want to hold items in place more securely whilst in transit, it also solved my solution as my honeycomb is installed on a fold down bed so the honeycomb is horizontal when the bed is deployed.

There a 3 size variations of each of the clips, those with a 25mm opening, a 50mm opening and a 75mm opening.

There are also 2 size variations for the threaded adjuster plate a 22mm and a 32mm, this allows any depth of object from 7mm to 72mm in depth to be secured. 

There are also 2 types of each clip, the clip-in one that clips straight into the honecombe organizer and the push-in that pushes into the standard inserts.  The clip-in version also has a countersunck insert that allows it to be used as a method of securing or strengthening the fixing of the honeycombe organizer. If the screw fixing is used then this must be done before installing the threaded asjuster as you will need to use the threaded hole for your screwdriver to access the screw. 

There is also an optional cap nut to be used to cover the end of the threaded adjusters if you prefer that look.

There are two types of clip:
Vertical - used for securing at the sides
Horizintal - used for securing at the top, bottom or corners

The threaded adjusters should be printed with a 0.15mm layer height and with the adjuster plate directly on the print bed with not supports, I found with 0.2mm the captive plate on the threaded rod tended to get fused to the rod and also the thread was not as cleanly finished, if your tolerances are a little out, it may take a little twisting back and forth of the thread and plate for the plate to spin freely on the threaded rod.

The main bodies should be printed with a 0.15mm layer height and the top (threaded hole side) directly on the print bed and I used the automatic paint on supports in prusa slicer.

For those of you who like to use multi-colour / material, I have also included the threaded height adjusters as separated stl files, to use these, simply load the stl for the horizontal or vertical adjuster plate, then right click on the model in the slicer and select to add part, then load the associated adjuster thread model, this should line up perfectly.
