exterior temperature sensor cover

Simple rain and weathter cover for external temperature sensor from my weather station.

It can fit sensor of maximum 22x40x90mm (maybe bit bigger with tight fit).

Designeg to be used with magnets glued on the bottom.

Print as seen on the last picture.

The model is designed for with 0.1mm gaps in ming, so at least basic calibration is required.

The dovetail connection might be tricky, if your printer is not good at overhangs - easy solve just clip the corners and it will fit. UPDATE - added version withou dovetail

I printed it in black PETG as mine will be hidden in shadow. I use 2 square magnet to hold it on the window frame.

I suggest using white PETG (or even better ASA) if any sunlight hits the cover.

If anyone cares I can make version with higher tolerances.

 

UPDATE: added body parts without dovetail connection (as it is fragile for such thin walls) and added push fit connector part to connect roof with body
