This Box Clamp has sliding dovetail fences that allow you to use much thicker boards than the original Woodpeckers Box Clamp BC4-M2. It also has a sliding wedge to allow you to connect 2 different thickness boards together. These clamps will hold your panels square to each other while you glue up or screw your cabinet together. Ever have issues with pocket screws sliding your panels apart? These clamps keep your panels at 90 degrees, you can use on the bottom to hold the panels upright and use on the top to keep corners square. Box joints, butt, corner, miter, dado, and T joints are all possible with these clamps.
Print the base with 2 perimeters NOT 3 otherwise the registration slots will be too tight. Everything prints without supports. You will want to print:
2x dovetails
2x walls The dovetails bolt onto the bottom of the wall with 3 M3x5mm flat head bolts. Make sure the dovetail is in the correct orientation to stick out past the wall a little bit to add to the structure of the wall. When clamped down it will make sure the walls are 90. (section analysis shows how in the pic)
1x Base
1x Corner
1x Wedge
To attach the corner and the wedge to the base you will need 2x M6 (1x35mm, 1x20mm) Flathead Bolts and 2 M6 nuts which you can print knobs for or use as is.
Edit 3.12.24: replaced 2 box clamp wedge files with updated model
Edit: 3.12.24: added 2 knobs designed for the corner and the wedge
