Magnetic sewing guides / seam guides in two variants.

Variant with notch: straight sewing guide with a notch an the back end to rest against the end of the sewing machine. Fits most transportable machines, like Singer.

Variant with curve: flat sewing guide with a leading and trailing curved edge for easy operation.

Botch variants have a little recess on the bottom to accomodate a piece of rubber foam. This in combination with the magnets fixes the guides securely on your machine.

Print:

  • anything between 0.1 and 0.3 mm layer height depending on the desired finish
  • 3 perimeters recommended
  • infill 15%
  • set the seam to the non-working side to ensure smooth surface on the fabric side
  • Put a little logo on top, if you like!

Assembly:

  • 2x 8 mm cube magnets glue in place (pockets are sized 8.4 x 8.4 mm)
  • attach rubber foam or cork to the bottom (I used Patex general purpose glue)

Printed mine with Prusament PETG Carmine Red Transparent.
