This is an adapter, used to move the magnetic base of the printer's screen to the left side of the printer.
Having a slight tilt forward, it allows for the cable chain to pass freely, without interfering with the screen. The overall package is made more compact.
No additional hardware is required: 2 out of 3 bolts, that held the base originally are screwed into the plastic after some cleaning with a drill bit.
Depending on the orientation of the print, you may, or may not need the cleaning part. Print using supports. The print is virtually invisible under the base, so no one will know about the post-processing, or lack thereof, except yourself, and the duck that watches you.
Note: It seems that no amount of adjustment produces a tight enough fit for it not to wobble. I suggest using hot glue to fix the bracket in place. A tight fit is no better, as it is hard not to file too much while trying to put the thing in place. The next version may have multiple parts to retain the ability to put the part in place without removing the front panel completely while adding more contact surface.
UPD: V1.5 has tighter tolerances and 4mm of initial hole diameter, making the fit easier.
UPD: V2 has the same tolerances as V1.5, but is thicker to accommodate holes for m4 threaded inserts.
