As a new parent, I got really sick of having to bend over to get the various things I needed below my baby a dozen times a day. It started as just a wipes holder, and then got a various tubes and lotions add on. And then another when we got even bigger tubes.

Specifically as configured it fits:

  • Costco Baby Wipes
  • 4.8 Ounce tubes (Desitin for instance)
  • 7 Ounce tubes (Aquaphor)
  • 13.5 Ounce Cetaphil Baby Lotion
  • Large Bumco Diaper Cream Spatula
  • Misc other stuff it wasn't specifically designed for

It's all designed to hang over a 20.2 mm edge and to have a further support 93 cm down to lean on. This is the exact changing table we have. I've included a screenshot with the exact positions of the upper and lower bars mine has for reference. The object files are also included so feel free to adjust things to fit your changing table.

The system is pretty modular so you could choose to just print pieces of it. Also since I used a piece of wood as the bridge under the wipes, you could adjust the length of that accordingly to your wipes.

Notes On Printing:

  • The supports are designed to be printed on their sides.
  • The holders are designed to be printed with their holes up so they are smooth.
  • The filament shown in the pictures is Prusa's Pistachio PETG.

Notes on Assembly:

  • For the board for the wipes shelf:
    • I cut mine to be about 118 x 200mm (~4.7 x 7.9")
    • It's designed to work with a ¾ inch board which in my case was actually 23/32" or 18.22 mm.
    • After cutting the board to size, I used my router to round over the edges that would show. This could also be achieved by sanding.
    • I chose to finish mine with several coats of poly to match my changing table.
    • I recommend marking from the prints and then pre-drilling the holes on the board. I didn't 100% get them symmetrical.
    • I used #6 x 1.25" screws to attach the board to the two sides.
  • The holders and supports are just super glued to one another. I used a gel-based super glue to help mate the not perfectly flat surfaces.
  • Besides the wipes holder assembly, the pieces should be configurable in whatever order you like.
