I grew tired of constantly repositioning my 125mm sanding discs on my orbital sander to achieve proper centering. Uncentered discs result in imbalance, leading to increased tool vibration, making it challenging to achieve a smooth and clean surface finish. If the vacuum holes are not aligned properly, the dust transport is not efficient and results in more dirt around the workplace.

The same issue arose with my delta sander. The problem here is that an improperly centered sheet can damage the Velcro pad of the sander.

To address these issues, I designed mounting aids for both power tools, utilizing the vacuum holes in the discs/sheets and the tools. Place the disc/sheet on the mounting aid, align the pins with the tool's vacuum holes, press together, remove the aid, and you're ready to go.

For:

  • 125mm diameter sanding discs
  • 93mm x 93mm x 93mm triangular sanding sheets
