This is a modular wire spool organizer I intentionally made for tiny AWG cables, but It proofed to be very handy as solder wire holder as well.
Single spools can take up to 10 meter of 30AWG cable, the double ones are confirmed up to 10m of 22AWG. Sizes bigger than 18AWG are known to be too sturdy and unsuited as they will unwind, when not under tension.
The spool cores connect to their sides by bajonet locking and have hex openings, so you can use a 5mm Allen-bit and an electric drill for winding.
Print two sides for each spool core and one lid for every stack of boxes.
Printed on Prusa MK3 and MK4 with PETG and 0,2mm layer heigth, no supports, no infill.
In case of stability issues when printing the double core part, I suggest adding 2mm of brim with 0mm gap to increase bed-adhesion.
