Working profile for Orcaslicer for the 100 by Matt the Printing Nerd

I have tried to convert the Cura Profile to Orca to match quality and performance of the Cura-Profiles.

The current iteration can print a Benchy in under 15 minuntes and Gridfinity Light Boxes (1x1x6) in under 8 minutes. Both in models are printable in reasonable quality.

I have invested a lot of time in tuning acceleration and printspeeds to match speed and quality to the setup of MY printer. Depending on the parts you have used some settings might need some additional adjustments.

As this profile is still WIP updates might be released soon.

The Profiles currently contain a few presets

  1. 0.28mm the 100 (baseline) : most conservative setting
  2. 0.32mm (cura clone) : settings copied from Cura (as good as possible)
  3. 0.32mm quality (1-5) : basically the same profile but gradually increased speeds until quality suffers to much. 0.32mm quality 5 is the one, that is currently used by myself as a “daily driver”

Also filament-profiles are provided. Please keep in mind that every extruder and filament is different. For my setup i need to use the PLA Basis 3.2 PA in conjunction with the 0.32mm quality 5 in order to get the best quality at a given speed. Your PA-Setting might be completely different. Also temperatures might change as the room in which my printer lives is rather cold.

Please not that the Maschine start G-code is really important, otherwise the temperatursettings for the firstlayer are not applied. I am using the custom-macro that was provided here
