This is the first part of a big project I am currently working on. The full project is coming soon!

This modular Pen-Holder system is perfect for holding pens of all sorts. This particular model here works for hexagonal pens with a width of up to 7,5mm. Currently, this is the only available size but I am working on more popular pen shapes. For this reason I also provided the STEP files to adjust the size yourself!

How to print and assemble:

For the print settings, I recommend 100% Infill and (especially for the small parts) a big brim of about 3-5mm. The layer height can be pretty high. I printed mine with 0,15mm. The module on the photos is printed in PolyTerra PLA in green and took about 9hrs to print in total. The black Part is just a test piece to test out the module connection. Please note that all the holes in the stabilizer-pieces aren't drilled all the way through because of stability reasons while printing. Use a drill bit that's just a bit smaller than your rods to drill the hole completely through! The stabilizers that are opposite to each other should be on the same height on both sides. Use super glue or epoxy glue to secure all parts together!

The Brass rods can have a diameter of 4-5mm (I recommend 5mm, because then it's a tight fit, otherwise you have to use super glue). The height of these rods should be about 166mm for a perfect height!

Some building instructions you can get from my beautiful drawings;)

If you experience any problems while assembling or you have any questions or tips, feel free to comment or write me an E-mail: [email protected]

And also please note that I'm 14 years old and this is one of my first projects I. So there might be some mistakes I made, but I hope I will learn from this projects ;)
