BETA, testing is being done.
Added an optional bedframe with 2x 200mm 2020 extrusions.
This is a modified version of the Rook 2020 MK2 that uses a KP3S bed and 3 Z-motors along with a slightly larger frame.
Frame is all 250mm extrusions, Y-rails are 2x250, X rail is 1x200, both MGN9C
All modified STLs are included, oriented and ready for printing, no supports required.
Please let me know if something is missing or needs adjusting.
Front idlers, idler blocks, motor-mounts and the left motor-mount bearing spacer needs to be downloaded from the Rook 2020 MK2 page.
However, I doo recommend using the double shear mod
Frame uses Blind joints, I've made a video and a tool to do this, you can find it HERE.
Supports all Rook toolheads.
Probe is needed for leveling, minimum 6 stepper motherboard. (or multiple boards.)
| Notes from beta, these are things that needs to be changed in the future | |
|---|---|
| Rear Z-rod is not needed, causes binding, seems to perform better without it. | fixed |
| Front Z rods needs to be lowered to allow more room for the toolhead. | fixed, height adjustable rod mounts added |
Thank you to Kurofox for this challenge :D
