I wanted a better way to punch down keystone jacks rather than holding them in my hand (which quickly gets tiresome) or using a scrap of wood etc., so I created this holder. I rounded the corners to add comfort and reduce fatigue. It works equally well on a hard surface or in the hand, and really comes in handy when working on a ladder or in awkward situations. Takes up very little room in your toolkit and you can carry it in your pocket comfortably all day.

The original version (v.02) works with Leviton keystones. I added a newer version (v.03-cm) which works with Cable Matters keystones as well as Leviton keystones. Version 03 was done completely in OpenSCAD using minkowski to round the corners.

How I Designed This

Basic design in OpenSCAD, saved as .stl, imported .stl into 123D, converted to a solid, then used the fillet tool to round the edges. Doing it all in OpenSCAD with minkowski would have taken more time.
