The one concern of the previous design

was that multiple filaments couldn't be driven at the different velocities.
Using the CVTs for the each filament feeder allows to tune-up the relative velocities.
On this set-up there is () -form solid gear and )( -spring load drive gear. When the arm is pushing )(-gear down the individual filament extrusion is increased (very up disengage, no extrusion).
The the common extrusion speed & direction is managed by the stepper motor driven main gear (through the arms' pivot point).
