It is (nearly) always a bad idea bind both ends of the Lead Screw Rod .
X5S has heavy duty bearing on the top end which has a couple additional issues. Typically bearing is not seated properly by it is tilted, requires a significant force to make it straight (note, apply the force only to the outer ring of the bearing).
The second issue is the worm screws for locking the lead rod. Most probably the screws will bend the rod because the rod is uneven surface.
The best solution is to allow the lead screw to flex via two pivot points - stepper motor coupling and lead screw nut of the bed.
This part fix the side lead rods upper ends but for center lead screw it has 2mm over size hole allowing the flex.
I include test print (50x50mm, single 0.4mm wall, layer mode). The bottom section 5mm is printed 60mm (100%) speed, then the speed is tuned up to 200% (+temp 30C) and the top section 300% (+temp 15C). (the original board is struggling to draw constant curve with 300% but straight sections went full speed. Part was places typical 90 angle)
