3DChameleon Profile and Mounts for the Qidi X Max 3

Here are the 3DChameleon mounts for the Qidi X Max 3 printer.  Also included is a “beta” of the PrusaSlicer profile.  It might need some minor tweaks… and if you find anything it needs, please let me know.

There are 3 STLs you need to print.

The 3DChameleon mount itself (which is a remix of https://www.printables.com/model/756165-3dchameleon-holder by willempi25), a switch mount and the Y adapter mount.

You'll need three 1" square two sided foam tape pieces for this installation.  The electronics, the switch mount and the Y adapter mount are all affixed to the printer with it.  You can use any location for the electronics, but you can see what I think is the optimal position in the pictures.

The switch mount is required to be at the far top left inside the printer.  The front of the switch mount is flush with the front of the motor bracket to the left.  Also, the Y adapter will be affixed to the surface of the filament run out sensor.  Use one zip tie to attach it to the mount, and then use a single piece of tape to affix it to the sensor.

The 3DChameleon mount uses the two existing screws on the metal plate… just remove the two, pass them through the counter sunk holes in the mount and reattach it to the printer.  The 3DChameleon just snaps into the mount once that's done.

Cut the PTFE tubes to length.

All 3 parts are in a single file… print them with 100% infill, any layer height in PLA or PETG.
