Do you still have some strips of 110 film that were used in pocket cameras back in the 1970s and 1980s? And do you have a Plustek OpticFilm scanner?
This is a film holder for 110 films. Just place the film strip into the holder, put the cover on the holder, and scan the film.
The OpenSCAD source code is included. By changing a few parameters, you can easily design film holders for almost any size and number of frames.
The source code can be opened in any text editor or directly in OpenSCAD. You will find the documented variables at the top of the source code. No OpenSCAD knowledge is required.
I recommend to use matte black filament, to reduce scatter lights from the scanner lamp while scanning. No need to use supports, but use brims if your filament is prone of warping.
I only had a small number of film strips to scan, and the holder did a good job. However, for a larger number you may want to do some minor improvements. The film strip shifts around in the holder, so probably some registration pins should be added to hold it in place.
