I like to keep a razor knife handy for opening boxes and other types of packages received in the mail. This little razor cutter, made with an X-Acto No.11 type blade, is just the thing for slitting tape on boxes or slicing open a thick envelope. When not in use I keep it in a 3D printed pen/pencil cup. My original version works well for it's intended purpose, but I thought it could use a few improvements.
The optional cap can be placed over the knife tip for carrying, or stored on the handle end.
Blade insert is easier with this improved version: Hold the blade with pliers and insert it into the handle; be sure to push it in until only about 3mm of the blade tip is showing. DO NOT attempt to insert the blade by hand - it is a tight fit and you will cut yourself.
When the blade become dull, it can be easily removed with pliers and replaced.
Print in PLA using the 3mf files provided, otherwise :
Note that the 3mf file is set up to print both the handle and pne in one print session, but one at a time.
