When sewing on the road, it's nice to have something to keep extra needles and pins in in case you need them! And Altoids tins are one of the best things out there for little “travel kits” and such.

In this case, print the insert piece (you will need to use some supports under the pegs, and probably print with a brim), then cut a piece of foam to place inside it to hold all your needles and pins. Voila! :D

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

See my Calligraphy nib holder model for more details on the original remix. This model is a remix of that one, which was in turn a remix of bill de_cat's Altoids Tin Solid Insert Template and SylvainKlein's Calligraphy nibs storage.

This time I just made the nib insert hollow so it could have a piece of foam placed inside to store needles and pins.
