This is a case for a 12 fan controller which uses a temperature sensor to regulate the fan speed (using PWM). You can find them on ebay cheap, or on Amazon at the link below:

https://smile.amazon.com/Comidox-Temperature-Control-Controller-High-Temp/dp/B07LBLWYZF

This uses a few extra parts, to make this, you will need:

  • 4x M3 brass inserts.
  • 4x M3 X 6mm screws
  • 4x M3 x 10mm screws

1x DC 2.1x5mm panel connectors, these can be found cheaper on Ebay (qty 2) https://www.amazon.com/10Pack-Adapter-Connector-Dustproof-Lsgoodcare/dp/B078YP4CP6

a compatible 12v power supply

  • a zip tie

The fans need to be 4pin fans There are 2 lids, one has magnets designed for 8x3mm cylinder magnets. I am not sure how well it will hold with magnets (so use it at your own risk). The other case back is just a flat top case. I'm probably going to use some VHB tape to mount mine.

Step file is included for easy remixing. If you make one, please post a make, if you have a suggestion to improve it, let me know or feel free to remix it. The parts are not oriented for printing, I suggest using tree supports.

I also made a 120mm fan vent that helps to direct the airflow here:

The 5th pic shows the current draw with 2 120mm fans on low (it was bouncing around but around).

The files are not oriented for printing, please be sure to rotate the tops of the case so they will print with minimal supports.
