Egg holder with marking ring

Why I made it?

Since we commonly cook a couple of eggs at once to take with us for lunch breaks, it sometimes happens that we end up not knowing which eggs in the fridge are still uncooked and which ones are boiled. To make this less of a hassle I designed a holder for the eggs including some customizable inserts to differentiate between the cooked and uncooked eggs.

Print settings

I used 3D Jake Darkgray ecoPLA for the base, Prusament Azure Blue PLA for the uncooked insert and some old red Dremel 3D PLA i had laying around..

Print settings:

• Profile: Prusament PLA
• Layer thickness: 0.2 mm with Input shaper
• Both holder and inserts printed with their face towards the bed, no support required
