Werner MT folding ladder knob

Broke the knob on my Werner MT-22 folding ladder. The original is a 2 piece unit held on by a snap ring. I found a design here but could not get it to fit my ladder. I then completely redesigned it as a 2 piece unit.

If you glue the inner knob on the shaft you could eliminate the snap ring.

You might want to glue the inner and outer pieces together as they are just a friction fit. I don't see them coming off as you never pull on the knob only push on it.

I used 95 TPU with 6 walls and 30% fill and it feels quite tough and substantial.

If it fails I will update.
