A marble labyrinth that uses gears instead of cord-twisted rods for control. All parts for the labyrinth should be printable.
I realised that a gear rotate-extruded 180 degrees would work as the inner pivot for a marble maze. Any rotation of the outer axis (perpendicular to the inner rotation axis) will present the same face to the gear attached to the inner axis.
I used my gear generator (thing:195160) to generate a gear with an angular pitch of 5mm and 20 teeth per circle (i.e. 9 + 2* 0.5 teeth shown in a 180 degree rotated version). OpenSCAD was hacked slightly in the process of doing this to get a 360 degree rotation to work properly, so YMMV when using the included SCAD file.
Models have been cleaned up using Repetier-Host v0.90D, so should be manifold and without intersecting triangles.
