Create a truncated octahedron space filling structure using only one connector shape and equal length sticks.
Two example models are provided: one with 2mm rounded holes, and one with 1mm diamond-shaped holes. These can be scaled as needed, or customised using the OpenSCAD file.
A single full truncated octahedron will need 24 connectors and 32 equal-length rods / sticks. Additional truncated octohedrons added on will need fewer connectors and rods / sticks.
See the spacefilldemo model for an indication of how to construct a single truncated octahedron, and the honeycomb model [thing 214169] for what this looks like as a large structure.
