8mm Pipette Rack

Pipette rack using 8mm-diameter tubes (e.g. sterile 5mL serological pipettes) as a frame.

Setup

1. Print out two angle brackets for the base, and four screw brackets for the frame
Connect two vertical rods to two horizontal rods for the frame, using the screw brackets. These will rest on the pipette handle and barrel respectively. The screwable hole (with bit taken out of it) is for the vertical rods to stop them slipping from gravity. Insert hex-head 4mm bolts into the screwable holes, and tighten with a 4mm nut Place the vertical rods into the angled holes in the angle brackets Connect another horizontal rod through the angle brackets for additional stability
