JC Riser Creality K1 SpeedBump RE-REmixer

I liked the speedbump @emcee_nars made, but I felt that I have to improve it a little.

You can print it like @emcee_nars recomended, or, like I did, cut the part in two and print it in the position in the photo.

The hinges printed in this position are much more strong and you need this. And the speedbump will not have any external supports and it'll look very nice in the end. The internal supports will not be a problem if they will not let a very clean surface. Nobody will see it :)

I made it from PETG - Solid Black from eSUN. I like their “Solid” series because these filaments are absolutely hydrophobic, strong and w/o any special requirements for printing.

Obvious, if you'll choose, like me, the 2 parts printing variant, then you'll have to use some glue to stick together the two parts.

NOTE: If you want, and only if you want, you can use it together with my chain link to raise the chain to the right height.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

First of all the model needed some polishing, but besides this I modified the bottom and the top part of the speedbump. They are thicker and at the same level with the opening.

The side shell of the box was much too thin (one single wall) on the corner side, so I made it as thick as the rest of the shell.

I removed some extra bumps, burrs, pointless edges that I missed on my first try.

I made the hinges a little bit stronger.
