Filament clips are nice - I like the Dragon clip but - oh boy - that is soooo annoying each time a clip slips off the rim when taking one spool out!!!!

Get rid of that - Use a Wyng!

Grips your filament end firmly, secures it in place and keeps it there no matter how you store your filament!

  1. Grab the end of your spool in one hand and the wing in the other hand
  2. Stick the filament through the hole at the inside of the Wyng - yes, it's pretty tight the first time but this ensures long lasting happyness.
  3. Press the Wyng between the sides of the spool - you can also pull the filament a bit to get a tight winding
  4. Store your spools side by side or on top of each other without worries and unclipped clips!

Prints best in PETG for the flex but you can try PLA as well.

The spool widths vary between manufacturers, so there are two versions:

  • normal for spools around 53 mm in width (JAYO, GST3D,…)
  • wide for spools around 58 mm in width (PRUSA, ERYONE,…)

Why is is called “Wyng” with a “y”? Because we are all soo fancy these days.
