Pipe thread gauge (G-Type)

This gauge can be used to measure standard pipe threads used all over the world (except US).

The gauge can be printed in two parts without any support. The text is embossed and readability can be increased by printing the base layers in a contrast color, as you see on the pictures. The two parts can be mounted together with the provided pins.

Depending on the calibration of your printer or used material (designed for PETG) a resizing of the model could be necessary. Doing a test print from only a part of the gauge maybe a good idea.

Printing tips:

• PETG for better stability (thin walls between inner and outer thread)
• 0.4 nozzle for detailed threads (which unfortunately increases the printing time)
• 0.2 layers dto. and embossed text is designed for that
