For the famous (and nowadays super cheap second hand) Supermicro CSE-815 1U server chassis, I designed a hard disk caddy (hard drive tray) for 3,5 SATA/SAS HDDs.

I build a caddy / tray based on the original HDD MCP-220-00001 drive tray and made it to be printed out fast and (nearly) without support (See: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4137086 )

However, you can't use 2,5 inch drives or SATA SSDs with the adapter above, that's why I created a 2,5 inch version, which fits into the 3,5 Inch Drive bays of the mentioned Supermicro Servers.

Note:
You don't need the special supermicro screws! Just use two standard 2,5" hdd fine pitch screws on one side. The other side does have little pins to keep it straight and secure.

This print should be an exchange for following supermicro hdd caddies:
MCP-220-00001-01
MCP-220-00024-0B
MCP-220-00075-0B
01-SC93301-XX00C104

Which means, this caddy should be compatible with following Supermicro 1U server chassis:

CSE-813MFTQ
CSE-813MFTQC
CSE-813MTQ
CSE-813LT
CSE-815T
CSE-815TQ
CSE-819TQ

CSE-825TQ
CSE-826A
CSE-826BA
CSE-836BA
CSE-826BE1C
CSE-826BE26
CSE-826BE16
CSE-826E16
CSE-826E1
CSE-826BE16
CSE-826BE1C
CSE-826E2
CSE-826E2
CSE-826E26
CSE-828TQ
CSE-836BHE16
CSE-836BE16
CSE-842XTQ
CSE-846E1
CSE-846E1
CSE-847A
CSE-847E1C
CSE-848A
CSE-848E16

Update:

I slightly fixed the pin size on "supermicro-caddy sff v4.stl" again, as the pins were slightly too large. I can recommend this "supermicro-caddy sff v4.stl". It is stable enough and you can use standard 2,5" harddisk/ssd screws.

Only as a second option I also made a screws-only versions, which requires the small supermicro screws. This "supermicro-caddy sff with screws v3" version doesn't need any support. but maybe the screws are in the ways for the bay walls.

Let me know your experiences in the comments.

Notes:

It's basically a super easy print. You don't need much infill, the stability comes from the walls.

Support is only needed for the little pins on the right side. The additional time for these little pins is below 1 minute of print time.
