This is a case to house the adjustable Frienda LM2596S DC-DC Buck Converter, which I plan to use for a few different printer upgrades, such as powering LEDs. The converter has an output voltage reading to make adjustments easy, and the case allows for accessing all buttons, the screen, potentiometer, and Vin and Vout.
The case is designed to use M2.5 screws. Because the buck converters don't have precise cuts, you may only be able to anchor the converter in with two of the four screws - this is enough. The case-top fits on snugly, but I added on a dab of superglue to hold it together, but only a bit.
Ignore the adhesion issues on my example print - I will update it when I make revisions to the design, but this is meant to go inside one of my printers so appearance is not a concern.
PETG is recommended for temperature concerns.
