This version of the Royal Game of Ur was designed for multi-filament printers. This game is most likely an early version of a race type game such as backgammon.

Notes about this build
- I included the separate parts for this build (.zip other files) if you want to assemble them yourself with something other than Prusa Slicer. You'll need to add the design to the appropriate case half as a part. The same with the tokens. For the die I painted the points, within Prusa Slicer, for printing with a different filament.
- The two case halves are design to nest into each other to hold die and tokens
- The design is 1mm thick and is added to the case halves as a part
- Magnets are strategically placed to hold the 2 halves together when nested
- Magnets are strategically placed to hold the 2 halves together during game play
- The pyramidal die are designed larger, and the depressions, to make pickup easier
- The tokens, for each player, should be contrasting colors, only 1 set is included
- The cases are printed top down to eliminate support
- The cases have mouse ears to reduce warping
- 3x12mm (x3) magnets were used for game play setup
- 3x12mm (x4) magnets were used for case nesting storage
I printed the cases/die/tokens using .32 structural with input shaping using Creality wood PLA for the case structure and Prusament PLA for the case design. In addition, I applied ‘variable layer height’ for the die and tokens. I also applied ironing for the tokens.
