PDFSasquatch - Base Support for Festool Domino DF 500
Extended base support for the Festool Domino DF 500 inspired by TSO DBF-45 BigFoot v2.0
When using the Domino on flat surfaces I wasn't happy with the handling. Instead of using the included or off-the-shelf product I designed a 3d printable version.
It offers:
- large window to see the 10mm offset marking
- center markings on the base support
- 60mm offset markings
- mounting point for a big handle
- screw holes in case you want to use a large piece of wood underneath
- additional (long) mounting holes to accommodate the wood underneath
As a handle I used M5 knob for MFT Benchdog. For mounting the M5 star grip was used.
Additionally you need 3 M5 screws.
Print it on the side and enable supports for the window. Organic supports worked perfect.
