Two of the “160mmBaaderERF HolderV1” files fit together as a clamshell around the Badder 160mm ERF. Clear aperture is 153mm. Printing was done with PETG.
Use 1mm felt tape along the edges and front/back to hold the ERF securely in place (see photo). There should be just a bit of movement so the glass has room to expand. Use M3 screws in some of the holes to secure the two halves of the clamshell and larger screws at the corners to secure the ERF to the telescope adapter. Some tilt can be easily added at the attachment to the telescope.
There are telescope adapters for a celsetron C6SCT and an Astrotech AT102ED. The fit is not perfect on either so some padding with a few layers of felt tape is necessary for easy centering. The telescope attachment pieces clamp on via M6 nylon screws.
There are two versions of the C6SCT telescope attachment piece: one with holes for threaded inserts and one with M6 threads printed in. The threads are a bit tight so it is helpful to go through them with a tap.
The fusion 360 files are provided for re-sizing to different telescopes and ERF sizes.
