Railroad crossing house/cabin
This is based on an real little house, in the ‘Oeverstraat’ te Dendermonde, Belgium. It's part of the ‘Dendermonde Stoomtrein’ railroad. (still in use as heritage line with actual steam engines).
I measured the house myself a number of years ago. I've not been there since, but I heard it might have been restored now.
I believe this originally was used to operate the railroad crossing barriers by hand, but a very long time ago…
I printed the walls with the base flat op on the buildplate, but encountered problems with that Next time I'll try and tilt it a bit sideways.
