I wanted a case for the Pi-hole server I was building and took inspiration from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1581003
My goals were:
Single piece construction with no supports.
Vertical orientation with good ventilation.
Attractive design.
Stable.
No unused ports showing (headless operation with no camera).
Note that the power cord acts as the retainer to hold the Pi in place.
Printed in PETG but PLA should be fine.
What's a Pi-hole? Basically it's an Ad blocker for all devices (computers, phones, streaming devices…) on your home network. See https://docs.pi-hole.net/ for more information.
Also included is a two piece bracket to hold a microswitch. The microswitch can be programmed to shut down the server when pressed. See https://github.com/TonyLHansen/raspberry-pi-safe-off-switch/ for details on wiring and programming this feature.
